The M.S. in Special Education (PK-12) program offered by Western Governers University is appropriate for master?s candidates who already have teaching licensure, can devote 15-20 hours per week to their studies, wish to earn endorsement in special education, and advance their careers in this high-demand field. The program consists of three domains of knowledge (Instructional and Performance Improvement, Research Fundamentals, and Special Education) including WGU competency assessments, mentoring, and completion of a capstone project.
