This specialization offers a multidisciplinary approach to informatics by blending nursing science, computer science, and information science. Coursework focuses on such key areas as information systems, database concepts, and effective project management. Fieldwork experience provides you with the opportunity to apply your new knowledge immediately. Students who enter the program with a bachelor?s degree in nursing complete the core curriculum and then progress on to the courses in the nursing informatics specialization.
