The purpose of the Bachelor of Science in Emergency and Disaster Management program is to prepare the learner to understand, manage, and mitigate the physical and human consequences of natural, technological, civil and human-caused hazards by integrating theory with practice. A degree in emergency and disaster management prepares you to take the lead in the critical work of responding to a wide range of natural and man-made disasters and civil emergencies.
