The Master of Arts in Education in Special Education - Gifted Education degree is a 36-credit hour degree program designed for teachers who currently hold an undergraduate degree in Teacher Education and would like to further their education. The Gifted Education degree is designed to prepare educators with the knowledge base and competencies necessary for the appropriate education of gifted and talented learners. Courses are offered online, streaming video, videoconference technology or CDs. If you do not reside in Nebraska or do not live near a receive site and are unable to access the synchronous or asynchronous stream, you may arrange to have CDs mailed to you. UNK offers affordable tuition to out-of-state online students. For 2007-08, non-resident graduate online tuition is $265.50 per credit hour; resident graduate tuition is $170.00 per credit hour (fees are additional).
