School districts nationally must have vocationally endorsed teachers to apply for Federal Perkins funds for innovation and improvement of a vocational program. A Vocational Diversified Occupations supplemental endorsement for Nebraska requires 6 credit hours of classroom instruction and 1000 hours verified work experience. Students pursuing certification in other states must check with their State Department of Education for certification requirements. Offered at both the undergraduate and graduate level. UNK offers affordable tuition to out-of-state online students. For non-resident online students, undergraduate tuition is $212.00 per credit hour; for Nebraska students, undergraduate tuition is $137.25 per credit hour (2007-2008 rates). Fees are additional.
