The University of Delaware's Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Health Services Administration prepares nurses to function as managers in health-care facilities. The curriculum incorporates the broad concepts of nursing and administration while providing the knowledge essential for managers to improve the productivity of the agencies for which they work, assuring that quality health care is maintained or improved. In addition, students develop leadership and marketing skills, learn how to apply management concepts to health-care systems, as well as understand the ethical and legal aspects of health-care management.
