This 30-credit nonthesis master?s program has the same core courses as the traditional master?s program with thesis. The core courses, covering solid mechanics, dynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and engineering mathematics, provide a rigorous foundation for the student to draw on while pursuing elective courses. Electives available in the distance learning format address areas such as composite materials, combustion, and materials.
