The Baccalaureate for the Registered Nurse (BRN) major is an innovative program that enables registered nurses who prefer a non-traditional educational approach to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The program is designed to build on basic nursing knowledge, enhancing nursing practice in an increasingly complex society. The University of Delaware's BRN major is offered in a distance learning format to maximize educational opportunities for registered nurses. Students may join the program either through participating worksites, including community colleges, or as individuals.
