The Master of Arts in Education program is designed for students with a Bachelor?s degree in education or a related field. The degree includes 36 credit graduate level courses, and has concentrations in: Teaching and Instruction, Educational Leadership, Higher Education, and E-Learning. The goal of the program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for effective managerial and leadership careers in the education field. The program promotes educational opportunities for career advancement, employment mobility and lifelong learning opportunities to professionals in education. The program designed to provide both a broad based perspective of education and increased competence in special responsibilities. Graduates will be prepared to assume applicable administration roles in the field of education. This program provides maximum flexibility, and designed to enhance career opportunities as well as knowledge and skills of teachers, counselors and administrators.
