The purpose of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program is to prepare students for entry-level computer science positions in business, industry, and not-for-profit organizations. Specifically, the program is designed to assist candidates to obtain quality undergraduate-level content expertise in software engineering with emphasis on e-business infrastructure. This program includes quality undergraduate-level hands-on exposure to computer programming, databases, computer operating systems and structure, networks, dynamic web engineering, security, and web services. All courses are case-oriented and application based. The graduate should be able to function at the professional entry level in his/her chosen field of computer science. The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program requires 120 semester units to complete.
