The graphic design programs prepare students to meet the demands of organizations and businesses with increasing in-house publishing needs. At both the undergraduate and graduate levels, coursework parallels professional practice, and provides students with opportunities to exceed industrial and historically traditional standards. Graphic design students? print and digital portfolios display professionally competitive design projects and demonstrate knowledgeable use of communication media, from print to time based. In the Graduate Certificate in Typeface Design program, students improve their technical and conceptual skills while developing a personal creative vision. M.F.A. students take advanced courses in typography, production for printing, digital production and portfolio design.
