Offered through the Manfred Steinfeld School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, this three-course certificate provides current members of the hospitality industry and those seeking careers in this exciting field an overview of the meetings and convention business. Students incorporate specific meeting planning skills, techniques, and applications as they apply to the Convention Industry Council?s Certified Meeting Professional Program and have the opportunity to explore issues and trends in the hospitality industry in depth. Required courses include: Introduction to Meeting, Convention, and Exposition Management; Applications and Techniques of Meeting and Conference Management; And Issues and Trends in Meeting and Conference Management.
