The Graduate Certificate in e-Learning is designed to introduce you to distance learning as it applies to training and development. This program provides the foundational knowledge and skills to effectively participate in the design, development and implementation of e-Learning programs. The program's project-based approach allows students to gain knowledge of and demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: instructional design theory and practice, e-Learning strategies, and online courseware design and development. All courses are offered on both campuses and online. Required Courses (15 semester hours): Introduction to Training and Development; Learning Technologies; Instructional Systems Design. In addition, two courses from the following: E-Learning Strategy; Blended Learning Solutions; E-Learning Course Design; E-Learning Course Production.
