The objective of the AACSB International-accredited Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program is to cultivate managers who are capable of effective decision-making in today's complex business environment. Emphasis is placed on the management process and the behavioral influences that significantly affect the success of modern organizations. Graduates of the program possess the strategic perspective necessary to identify opportunities and risks in a rapidly changing economic environment. Over 95% of Marist's MBA graduate students are employed full-time and range from seasoned senior managers to young professionals in the beginning stages of their careers. Students pursuing an MBA at Marist have earned undergraduate degrees in a wide variety of fields, including business. This variety of backgrounds provides students with a rich learning experience. The MBA program requires a minimum of 30-credits of graduate study in Core and Elective courses. Students needing additional Foundation courses will take longer depending on the number of foundation credits required. Should all Foundation courses be necessary, then students may need to complete as many as 51 units. GMAT required.
