Liberty University?s Doctor of Education program provides advanced training for individuals seeking positions in higher-education, developing competent and effective leaders with a Christian worldview who will model high academic standards and assume a leadership role in the field of education. Courses develop the skills necessary to assume a facilitating role in accomplishing the goals and objectives of an education system, whether it is as a teacher, principal, college instructor, superintendent, or another academic position requiring strong leadership and decision-making abilities. This program is accredited through the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) Accreditation, and is a state-approved program for school licensure (reciprocity with other states) or endorsements.
