Liberty University's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) degree program prepares registered nurses for positions of leadership in the nursing field, encouraging professional development and personal growth, as well as opening the door for continued education at the graduate level. Courses are specifically designed for the practicing nurse, drawing from students' real-life nursing experiences to expand their knowledge. They will develop strong leadership skills in collaboration with clients, other professionals, and groups within the community for the purpose of promoting, maintaining, and restoring health. Students will utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in determining nursing interventions and applying therapeutic skills, with emphasis placed on refining written, communication, and research skills.
