Liberty University's Associate of Arts in Psychology program provides students with a foundational background for understanding relevant facts and concepts of human behavior, including the sociocultural context in which psychology emerged. Students will develop familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative methods of research, as well as methods for presenting their research, and will understand the importance of utilizing ethical principles of psychologists through psychological theory, practice, and research. Students will also learn to use critical thinking in understanding the similarities and differences between themselves and others, and will grasp the roles that gender, race, ethnicity, culture, and class play in affecting all human perspectives and experiences.
