Liberty University's Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice program provides students with a strong foundation of both knowledge and skills to prepare them for careers within a wide-variety of criminal justice related fields. Students will develop excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate in both professional and personal environments within this field, as well as building strong leadership and managerial skills for qualification for future promotional opportunities and certifications. This degree can prepare you for entry-level positions in the field of criminal justice including administration, casework, corrections, counseling, juvenile justice, probation & parole, social services, and victim advocacy. This program can also prepare you for the bachelor's program. 60 total credit hours are required to complete this degree, 15 hours of which must be taken through LU.
