The program prepares students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge for entry-level positions in various health care professions. Students completing all the requirement of the Medical Billing and Insurance Coding diploma will also be awarded a technical diploma in that program area. Potential entry-level job position titles include medical assistant, medical billing and insurance coding specialist, medical office administrator or therapeutic massage practitioner based on the concentration courses. The average length of time for a student pursuing the entire program with a full course load is 4 semesters; student who transfer in the concentration courses may have 1-2 semesters depending on their transfer evaluation.
