Franklin Pierce University's Master of Business Administration in Health Practice Management degree program is designed specifically for professionals who want to succeed as leaders and managers in healthcare organizations. This program focuses on increasing the knowledge of the principles of management and delivery of healthcare services within small community agencies or multi-faceted healthcare organizations with an emphasis on healthcare financing. This degree consists of 13 courses and awards 41 credits. A cohort group of students will focus on acquiring the knowledge and skills of healthcare managers to assume their roles in health practice management, public health and patient/client advocacy. Topics include ethics, research, statistics, finance, organizational behavior as well as community development and relations with an emphasis on the financial aspects of managing a health practice.
