The primary goal of the Franklin Pierce College Master of Science in IT Management program is the development of middle to upper level technology managers. This program has a dual focus: one on the development of the manager as a leader in the organization, and the second on the development of the technological theory and practice necessary to lead and manage an Information Systems department or company. The ITM degree provides students with the leadership skills essential for today's managers and crucial for advancement to higher levels of responsibility. The program focuses on specific content areas as well as the skills, principles, and habits that are chief components of effective management in Information Technology. Graduates of this program will demonstrate thier skills as leaders; create, implement and manage databases using the latest technology and software; and implement innovative solutions to business problems using theories and concepts from the program. This degree consists of 13 courses and awards 40 credits.
