The Ellis College Interdisciplinary Studies program allows you to custom design a course of study that matches your professional and personal goals. The English interdisciplinary studies concentration prepares you to be creative and critical thinkers in the rapidly changing professional world. The skills and flexibility of the online English concentration supply you with a strong asset in our changing economy, which demands clear thought, strong writing, editing, and speaking skills. To complete the requirements of the English interdisciplinary studies concentration, courses from the following areas may be chosen: Literature (LITR) and Writing (WRIT). Course selection includes The Art of Poetry, The Art of Drama, The Art of Fiction, The Art of Prose: Scientific and Technical Literature, Shakespeare, The African-American Writer in American Literature, Multicultural Literature, Business Writing, and Writing for Technical Professions.
