The English major from Ellis College is designed to prepare you with excellent communication skills that are critical in today's fast-changing professional settings. The Bachelor of Arts in English with a specialization in Literature and Culture program is a diverse and structured curriculum offering an opportunity to pursue your own professional interests, and to shape your own education through work in a second field, along with a generous allotment of electives. Students in the Literature area of study take five of the following courses while pursuing their Bachelor Degree online: Modern Poetry, Modern Drama, Shakespeare, Survey of World Literature, Art of the Novel, The African-American Writer in American Literature, Twentieth-Century American Literature, Nineteenth-Century American Literature, and Literature Seminar. 120 credit hours are requried to complete this degree program.
