DeVry's Master of Business Administration curriculum emphasizes the practical skills and concepts businesses demand from management professionals and blends management theory with real-world applications. Students in this 16-course (48-semester-credit-hour) program must complete four management core courses, one quantitative, and five program-specific courses that provide a broad business background invaluable to any manager. For the remaining six courses, students can custom design a course of study that best suits their needs and interests. Students can choose their courses from a variety of disciplines, or they can concentrate in one of the following functional areas: Accounting, Electronic Commerce, Finance, General Management, Health Services, Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Information Systems, Information Security, International Business, Marketing, Project Management, Public Administration, Security Management, Network and Communications Management.
