The Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) program offered by DeVry University prepares students to be strategic and tactical contributors in their organizations by teaching concepts and skills needed to acquire, develop and retain qualified human capital. Coursework is taught from the practitioner's perspective and focuses on applying human resource competencies to real-world problems and opportunities. Specific areas addressed include: strategic human resource planning, strategic staffing, training and development, managing organizational change, leadership and team building, compensation and benefits, and employment law. This preparation enhances students' and graduates' value to employers while providing a solid base upon which to achieve success as human resource management professionals.
