Many graduates continue their advanced study and seek doctoral degrees in psychology. Through this rigorous online curriculum of the Counseling Psychology specialization, you will gain an understanding of counseling theory and the development of psychological testing skills. While some Master's degree graduates may pursue licensure as psychology assistants or technicians, this specialization does not prepare graduates for licensure as an independent, professional counselor or psychologist.
