Capella University?s online Master?s degree in Human Services is designed to enrich your professional knowledge and help you more effectively address social issues and challenges in your community. The Social and Community Service specialization is designed for entry-level professionals in human services wanting to advance their careers. You will acquire critical knowledge in social and community services and gain a strong understanding of key issues, including cultural awareness, utilization of community resources, social change, and public policy. Upon graduation, you will be prepared for a leadership role in public or private organizations serving community needs. Note: This is not a master's degree in social work. This specialization is not designed to meet licensure requirements associated with a master's degree in social work.
