Aligned with standards of the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) and the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), this specialization provides a strong foundation in general K-12 educational administration, along with focused course work in special education administration, instructional strategies, law, and finance. People who choose this specialization are often pursuing special education leadership positions at the building, district, state, or national level, or higher education faculty or consulting positions in the field of special education.
