In the Fiber Communications Certificate program, students will take classes including an Introduction to Fiber Optics, Advanced Fiber Optics, and Telecommunications. Approved by the Electronics Technician's Association - International, Briarwood's fiber optics programs are among the most comprehensive "plain language" fiber optic courses on the market. You will be amazed at how quickly you learn. The Fiber Optics courses cover all the topics you need to pass the ETA-I certification examinations for Fiber Optics Installer and Fiber Optics Technician, and include a hands-on lab for learning and practicing the practical skills you will need in the field. The Telecommunications course will prepare you to pass FCC Elements 1, 3 and 8.
