The Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) Certificate program begins with basic networking concepts, moves into basic and then advanced routing and switching. Upon successful completion of these classes and certification exams you will hold the following certification designations: Net+ - CompTIA Network+ Certification; CCENT ? Cisco Certified Entry Level Technician; CCNA ? Cisco Certified Network Administrator. This training program combines the entry level training of CompTIA and Cisco, and is designed for those individuals who have some network experience but would like to formalize their knowledge. CCNA certifies a comprehensive understanding of networking fundamentals and the skills required for positions such as a Network Specialist or Associate Network Engineer. Upon successful completion of the certification training you will be able to install, operate and troubleshoot a small branch network and medium-sized routed and switched networks; understand basic network security; install, operate and troubleshoot more complex networks; configure IP addressing and authentication; establish and troubleshoot connections to service providers over a WAN; understand the mitigation of basic security threats; Have a basic understanding of wireless network concepts.
