The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program is a 36-credit hour program focused on the tools and methods required to run a business. Both the entrepreneur and the mid- to upper-level manager will find valuable techniques for building business in the course of study. Students need not have a bachelor?s degree in business to apply for the MBA program. The program is open to anyone who has achieved satisfactory performance in any accredited undergraduate degree program. However, students without an undergraduate business degree will usually take a 9-credit hour Foundation of introductory business concepts. At Bellevue University, students in the MBA program can focus in one of eleven specialized areas of business: accounting, acquisition and contract management, finance, healthcare, human resource management, international management, marketing, management information systems, and supply chain management. Or, students may elect to take the broader-based interdisciplinary management concentration.
