Bellevue University?s Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems - Technology Advancement Program (CIS-TAP) is designed to provide the technology skills necessary for a career as a software developer. Graduates of this program will have knowledge in programming skills using several development technologies. A variety of assignments and techniques are used to promote critical thinking and direct application of course material. Students in this program can expect to learn how to: use several programming languages, explore important aspects of programming and software development using the systems development life cycle, and develop technical and business advocacy presentations. Students will also learn to apply object-oriented programming techniques using development tools, develop software applications and Web based applications, as well as describe business telecommunications through the study of telecommunications networks.
