American Sentinel University?s Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Security aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge that qualify them for challenging career positions in the dynamic and in-demand information systems security field. After graduating from this program, students will play essential roles on the IS team, typically designing and implementing secure networks and applications. In addition, the program is also designed to prepare students to take CompTIA?s Networks+, Security+ and (ISC)² SSCP professional certification examinations. The 120-credit BS in Information Systems Security program is based on a sound foundation in networking and security management as well as competencies in a broad spectrum of specialty areas such as access control, risk management, security planning, and vulnerability testing.
