The AIU Online Associate of Arts in Business Administration degree program, with a concentration in Visual Communication is designed to help prepare students interested in pursuing career opportunities in graphic design. The curriculum combines the business skills of AIU Online's AABA degree program with specific skills needed in the field of visual communication and also provides a seamless transition into the AIU Online Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication degree completion program. Students enrolling in this career-focused curriculum will learn to apply design principles and techniques to the creation of visual solutions, the usage of research techniques and problem-solving skills in the creation of projects, and the application of business and financial skills in the field of visual communication. At the completion of this program, successful students may pursue such careers as: Graphic Design Assistant, Advertising Specialist, Community Arts Development Associate, Gallery Assistant and many other creative careers.
